From Detroit To Lansing, Michigan’s Absolutely Perfect Baseball Weekend
Friday night lights at Comerica Park are a thing of beauty.
The anticipation of a Tigers game is enough. No matter the record. If you've never been inside Comerica Park for a game, don't think of it as something to be ashamed of. Because you've got something on your bucket list you need to cross off as soon as you can. Because it's ALL THINGS BASEBALL and just a sight to behold.
The chance to see Miggy hit his 500th on Friday night was worth the price of admission alone. But the crowd and the atmosphere made it so much better. The kids. The grown men and women with childlike wonder on their faces. Will he do it tonight (he did not)?
You know how many conversations I heard on the way into the park about, "what I'm gonna do if I catch that ball"? I lost count and couldn't stop laughing.
Plus seats right here.
And all I needed was one of these.
Friday night (even though we didn't get good ole #500) was made.
Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field for Latino Night was just right.
It's summertime. We've only got a few weeks left. I'm going to get out and do as much summer stuff as I can. So two baseball games in one weekend? A double header so to speak but 2 different teams and 2 different cities?
Don't threaten me with a good time.
Saturday night I found myself back at home in Lansing at Jackson Field for a little music.
And a lot of love at Latino night.
Lovely crowd outside.
Beautiful baseball on the inside.
Can't complain about the seats.
Gimme a bratwurst and I'm good to go.
Summertime and the living is easy.
Enjoy the pictures from this past weekend of baseball in Michigan.
Get out there so you can see and do it for yourself.
