We were shocked and excited to find out that Michigan Speedways are honoring 7-Eleven's Slurpee Day by giving every customer a FREE small Slurpee all day today.

Since 2002, 7-Eleven, the world’s largest convenience retailer, has been celebrating its birthday on July 11 in the most awesome way possible. They give their customers a free Slurpee on 7/11 to thank them for their loyal support.

Many customers may not realize that 7-Eleven Inc. now owns all Speedway convenience stores and gas stations. 7-Eleven Inc. purchased the company from Marathon Petroleum Corp. for $21 billion in May 2021, acquiring roughly 3,800 stores located in 36 states across the U.S.

We no longer have 7-Eleven in Genesee County, so we just assumed we couldn't get a free Slurpee today... we were wrong. We called the local Speedway, and they informed us that all Speedways in America are honoring 7-Eleven's Slurpee Day with a free Slurpee.

You can also use 7REWARDS at checkout today to receive an extra free small Slurpee drink that will be redeemable anytime in July.

So if you don't have a 7-Eleven in your area, just hit up your local Speedway and get your free small Slurpee today to celebrate 7-Eleven's big birthday.

How Old is 7-Eleven Today?

According to their website, 7-Eleven was founded in 1927 as an icehouse storefront in Dallas, Texas, and was known as Tote'm Stores between 1928 and 1946. Today, they are celebrating their 97th birthday.
