Imagine sleeping your house when all of a sudden a truck comes crashing through your wall. Unfortunately, it happens more often than you'd think.

That's exactly what happened earlier this morning in Saginaw. Unfortunately, a 65-year-old woman didn't survive to tell the story.

According to MLive, about 2:40 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, police responded to a crash at 4102 Pemberton St. on the city’s East Side. They arrived to find a black 2010 Chevrolet Silverado had crashed sideways into the single-story house.

The woman (Police are not disclosing the name yet) was sleeping on her couch when the truck crashed through the wall and killed her.

There were other people in the home at the time including a couple of kids. One adult was in the shower and the other was sleeping.

That must have been so chaotic and horrific for everyone else in the home that survived.

To top it off, the scumbag driver fled on foot. I don't think the police will have an issue finding him since they were able to locate the passenger of the truck.

The report from Mlive didn't say whether or not the driver had been drinking but I'm going to assume because of the time and the fact that they fled from the scene. I'm sorry but you don't get to drive into a home, kill someone, and then just take off.
