Local favorites and Dirt Fest performers No Resolve shocked us last night by beating out Nikki Sixx's pet project Sixx A.M. Let's see if they can keep the hot streak going when they face off against Canada's Redlight King and their new single 'Bullet In My Hand'.

  • 'Trust Me Not'

    No Resolve

Against all odds the Detroit based alt-rockers survived last night bout with radio titans Sixx A.M. Partially due to their rabid fan support in the area, but also because 'Trust Me Not' is a well produced radio-ready track with trippy guitar melodies and a giant chorus.

  • 'Bullet In My Hand'

    Redlight King

Redlight King frontman Kaz got some help from fellow Canadian and classic rock icon Neil Young on his single 'Old Man', which used samples of Young's version. The new single Bullet In My Hand (not to be confused with Rage Against the Machine's 'Bullet In The Head' or Soundgarden's 'Burden In My Hand') is a better representation of what the band sounds like. Unless Neil Diamond or Celine Dion are hidden somewhere on the track, there are no iconic Canadian musicians on this one, just Redlight King. You will be able to check the band out live when they open up for Candlebox and Royal Bliss August 11th at The Machine Shop.
