Pea-sized Hail Falls in Downtown Flint, The World Might End [VIDEO]
Let me jump on the bandwagon and say how much I hate the weather right now. However, I only hate the weather because of what goes with it.
When we get any kind of weather other than sunshine, everyone loses their damn minds. I woke up this morning and looked at Facebook, which I have found to be a dumb idea first thing in the morning. Of course, the first thing I see is a crapload of posts about the snow. We get it, it's spring, you're over the snow. Just stop. We go through this every year. First, it's those people, followed by people like me that are complaining about the complainers. It's a vicious cycle.
The main reason I hate the weather and people's reactions thought is simply for the cliches. If I hear the phrase "welcome to Michigan" one more time, I may completely lose my mind. That is quite possibly the most empty, meaningless collection of words out there. I know where I live. I know what happens with the weather. I was born here. I am quite familiar with this crazy weather phenomenon. Spring, summer, fall, winter, repeat.
Please, I beg you, just stop! Stop using meaningless words to describe regular occurrences in nature.
Now that I got that off my chest, here is some video of hail falling in downtown Flint yesterday to fuel the fire.
