A Popular Bin Store Is Opening in Flint Township
There’s been a lot of buzz on social media this week about a popular bin store opening a new location in Flint Township.
The Michigan-based store isn’t open yet, but between the online chatter and recent activity near the old Gander Mountain spot on Miller Road, people are talking.
That store is CDS Pallets.
What Is CDS Pallets?
Despite the name, CDS Pallets isn’t about wooden pallets at all. It’s a bin-style discount store with overstock, liquidation items, and returns dumped into big bins. No shelves. No guarantees. What’s there changes all the time, and that’s basically the point.
According to the company, the Flint Township location is expected to be its largest store, with dozens of bins filled with a rotating mix of items. Exactly what ends up in those bins depends on the shipment, so inventory can look very different from one visit to the next.
I haven’t shopped at one of these stores before, so I get why it might sound a little confusing at first. But people who are into bin stores really seem to love the whole treasure-hunt vibe.
Where Is CDS Pallets in Flint Township Located?
The new CDS Pallets location is planned for 5038 Miller Road, which looks to be the former American Freight Furniture and Mattress spot.
When Does CDS Pallets Open?
So far, there’s no official opening date yet. When these stores get closer to opening, updates usually pop up on social media first, so that’s likely where things like hours and any opening-day details will show up.
