The massive road project on I-475 is scheduled to resume today.

The big project on northbound 475 will start back up again today according to officials. This is all part of a $44 million project to fix 18 miles of roadway. Lane shifts will take place on Saginaw street during the project. Once that is completed, the hot-asphalt portion of the project will begin May 5th.

I'm really glad to see the project resume. Not only am I happen that 475 is being fixed, but I am also extremely happy that many of the road workers will be going back to work. It is a tough time for many people right now and getting people back to work safely is so important.
