Ronald McDonald Stolen Statue Triggers McVestigation in Woodhaven
There is a $1,500 reward for the safe return of Ronald McDonald. I'm not kidding.
The good people in Woodhaven, Michigan are up in arms because someone has taken a McDonald's statue instead of the ice cream machine that seems to always be broken according to a facebook post from the Woodhaven Police Department,
Late Friday night between midnight and 1am Saturday the Ronald McDonald statue was stolen from behind McDonald’s. The bench he sits on was cut and he was taken.
The facebook post has been shared over 1.2 thousand times in the last 36 hours. But it's the hundreds of hilarious comments for me. Many people are posting pictures of when they sat on the bench next to this Ronald McDonald statue over the years. Others are pointing out the obvious suspect, the Hamburglar. I personally think the Hamburglar is too obvious. What's the deal with Grimace? Don't get me wrong, I love purple. But he's a McMystery.
This reminds me of the Ohio Moo-stery from last April. Somehow, someone stole a 600 pound cement cow outside of Chick-Fil-A in North Olmsted. Click here for the fil-a story.
Back to the much loved kidnapped clown, Ronald McDonald. He's been a staple of the Woodhaven community for many years. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. McDonald please contact Detective Sergeant Ruffner at 734-675-4929. Our thoughts are with Ronnie and his porcelain family.
