Super Popular Gas Station to Open 6 Locations in Michigan

There are a handful of convenience store and gas station chains that have exploded in popularity over the years. The number one reason is the food they offer, aside from your typical snacks. Well, one of those popular chains is coming to Michigan for the first time ever.

Attention Sheetz Freaks! Your convenience store and gas station dreams are about to come true. Michigan will soon welcome six new Sheetz locations, bringing your favorite snacks and eats closer than ever. When fans of the popular chain call themselves Sheetz Freaks, you know the excitement is real.

Sheetz stores are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are known for their made-to-order food menu, which includes a variety of options such as sandwiches, burgers, salads, and breakfast items.

Sheetz is in the process of building its first Michigan location in Romulus which is scheduled to open at the end of summer, with a second store to follow in Chesterfield. The company just announced four additional locations planned for Michigan as well.

The four newly announced Sheetz locations are:

• Taylor, at 8200 Telegraph
• Taylor, at 20623 Eureka Road
• Warren, at 31925 Van Dyke
• Macomb Township, at 45011 Garfield Road

This is only the beginning for Sheetz. As we mentioned earlier this year, the company is planning to open 50-60 locations in Michigan. However, some cities have already rejected plans for proposed Sheetz locations including Madison Heights, Rochester Hills, and Waterford

According to the Detroit Free Press, other possible locations include Easpoint, Orion Township, and Van Buren Township.
