Buffalo, New York has seen more than 70 inches of snow already this year, which is making travel damn near impossible. In a hilarious misunderstanding, a snowed-in truck driver reached out to the Genesee County Road Commission for help.

According to Fenton Patch, somewhere near 50 trucks were stranded on a stretch of Buffalo highway. One of the drivers angrily called the Genesee County Road Commission, demanding that they get crews out there to clear the way.

Slightly baffled as to why Buffalonians(?) would be calling them for help, the GCRC asked the man several questions and eventually discovered he had been given the number for the wrong Genesee County. New York also has one and it's located right outside of Buffalo.

I'm sure once they sorted it out they explained to the man that even if they were close enough to help, this Genesee County Road Commission doesn't start plowing or salting the roads until January.
