Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser For Banana Listener With Brain Tumor
Just a couple months ago, Tony wrote about one of our awesome listeners from Saginaw. Mariah Lonsway is getting ready for a costly brain tumor removal surgery and could use some help.
Mariah suffers from a rare brain condition that causes a lot on rough conditions in her everyday life. It is a non-cancerous cystic tumor on the pineal gland of her brain and causes nausea, migraines, memory loss, and more.
Unfortunately, the surgeon that was supposed to the surgery in Houston can no longer do it. The family is now searching for a new one to get it done. If you would like to know more about Mariah, her condition, or anything else, check out Tony's story here.
In the meantime, Mariah, along with her family and friends, are hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Sunday, October 14th from noon until 6 pm. The event takes place at the Saginaw Moose Lodge on 2218 Midland Road and cost $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for little humans four and under. There will also be 50/50 raffles, a silent auction, a bake sale and more. All the proceeds will be used toward medical treatment and travel expenses to help Mariah get through this.
You can find more detail on the event here.
