In the never-ending battle for clean water amidst the Flint Water Crisis, TV 5 and Kroger in Burton have teamed up for a water drive.

With the state of Michigan ending the distribution of water in Flint, many residents are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to clean water. To help ensure that residents still receive the clean water that they need, WNEM TV 5 and Kroger on Bristol Road in Burton are putting on a water drive. The drive started yesterday and will end tonight at 7 pm.

If you are wanting to make a donation, you can drop off the bottled water right at the store or even head inside to purchase water to donate. Two Men and a Truck, the United Way of Southeastern Michigan, and DHT have all stepped up to help with the process.

All donations collected will be disbursed to homes in Flint on Friday.
