UAW Appreciation Night at the Flint Firebirds Game

The hockey action continues tonight at Dort Event Center and it is UAW Appreciation Night! All UAW workers can snag a $5 discount on silver level tickets for the game. 

The puck drops at 7 pm as the Firebirds go to work against the Oshawa Generals. If you are a UAW worker, be sure to show your ID at the box office to receive your discount.

Cynthia Lambert will also be in attendance selling and signing her book ‘Power Play: My Life Inside the Red Wings Locker Room.’ Lambert was a hockey reporter for the Detroit News from 1986-1998. A portion of the proceeds from her book sales will benefit the United Way of Genesee County.
