Walmart has announced that it will be helping associates with their college tuition.

On Friday, July 30th, 2021, Walmart announced that it will now pay 100% of college tuition and for books for associates. This is all a part of Walmart's Live Better U education program. The program begins on Monday, August 16th, 2021.

When the new program begins, $1 per day will be removed for associates making all education programs paid for by Walmart. This program will be able to help around 1.5 million part-time and full-time Walmart and Sam's Club associates earn a college degree or learn trade skills in the United States without having to worry about education debt. Walmart is also planning on investing around $1 billion over the next five years for career-driven training and development.
