Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has been working with everybody from Canada's Simple Plan to Nickolodeon's Miranda Cosgrove these days. His latest collaborative effort has him paired with Lzzy Hale, for what is presumably a track for Halestorm's album due later in 2011.

We recently reported that Halestorm were pushing their sophomore release up from the original release date of 2012 in favor of dropping the album this year. The Philadelphia rock group has been in the studio writing and recording new material for the past couple of weeks with several guest appearances already revealed. Followers of frontwoman Lzzy Hale's Twitter page have been treated to constant updates from the studio; some indicate that Halestorm may have already teamed with Theory of a Deadman and Creed touring guitarist Eric Friedman. The latest news on the upcoming album is that Rivers Cuomo will guest on a new song with the band, check out the proof (compliments of Twitter) for yourself:
