Finally, after being closed for months, one of Grand Blanc's favorite spots for chicken has reopened.

It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 10 months since YaYa's Flame Broiled Chicken in Grand Blanc closed its doors, which many residents thought was permanent. A few days after the popular restaurant locked up, we learned that YaYa's wasn't closing for good—they were just relocating.

Back in December of last year, we shared how YaYa's was moving down the street—literally. We were informed via social media that they were relocating to the old Troy Cleaners building just off Saginaw Street. After months of work on the new location, they finally reopened this week.

I wouldn't have known they were open if it weren't for a woman who posted on social media:

"Went to the new Yaya’s location right next to Subway today, which used to be the Troy Cleaners. Their chicken had the best flavor!!! Was very impressed, and they have the homemade dressing back for the shredded chicken salad!"

A little later I saw a post that an employee shared about YaYa's reopening:

"Hey guys! YaYa’s is now OPEN!! We’re ready for you guys to come see us tonight til 8! We’re next to Qdoba, Subway, and Little Caesars right across from the high school!"

According to her post, YaYa's is now open Monday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

I sure hope they still have the Southwest Jalapeno Ranch. It's so freaking good.
