Zatar & Olive Is Coming to Davison with Bold Mediterranean Flavors

The Davison dining scene is getting a fresh addition as Zatar & Olive prepares to open, bringing bold Mediterranean-inspired dishes to the area.

If this is new information, you are not alone. From what I can tell, the new spot was announced on social media back in October 2025 - but I somehow missed it until now.

The new spot is at 415 North State Road.

A restaurant description on Facebook reads as follows,

At Zatar & Olive, every meal begins with a story — one rooted in family traditions, fresh ingredients, and the simple joy of sharing good food with the people you love. We bring the heart of the Mediterranean to your table!

 

When is Zatar & Olive in Davison scheduled to open?

As of now, no official grand opening date has been announced. Both Zatar & Olive’s Facebook posts and the sign at the restaurant read ‘coming soon'.

I have heard rumors that Zatar & Olive might open toward the end of February 2026, though there’s no official confirmation yet. For now, it is all just speculation until the restaurant makes an announcement.

Genesee County residents are also eagerly anticipating the opening of another new Davison restaurant, Charcoal & Ash Kitchen + Bar, located on South State Road (formerly Senor Lucky's).

The concept behind this upcoming spot specializes in open-fire cooking using natural hardwood charcoal.
