Four area bands battle it out for a week of airplay in the Flint Town Throwdown. This week's bands are Sour Jane, Chaos Rains, Underneath It All and Fighting for the Sky — listen to the tracks and vote for your favorite now. Choas Rains is one of Detroit's most recognized Hard Rock bands. With the release of thier latest CD, "White Trash Beauty Queen", the band now commands audience attendance numbers in excess of 150+ persons per show. The exemplary performances of this band yield accolades from even the hardest critics and the band boasts a fan base increase of 90% of new comers from each show.

Fighting for the Sky

For some time, founding members Garth Oliver and Alex Smith struggled to get a legitimate project up and running. This yea, the long journey led them to the formation of Fighting For The Sky (March 2012), with the addition of Christian Smith, Alex's brother. FFTS attempts to bring a creative and modern sound to the rock scene. Currently an ongoing local project, the band is hard at work creating more music and booking shows.
