American Idol Contestant & Flushing Native Manny Torres’ Cancer In Remission [VIDEO]

He announced the cancer diagnosis in March of this year, and is now in remission with plans to carry on with his music career! 

This guy is a really positive and talented person, and it made my day to find out that he's officially in remission. He was at Burgers and Brews earlier this summer, and I chatted with him for just a moment. He told me things were going pretty well and that he hoped for good news in the near future. That time has come, and I felt the need to share his victory with you. That smile has seemingly never faded, even through the treatments, and I'm sure it will continue to light up the world even brighter now. Cheers, Manny!
