Tainted Gas May Have Been Sold at This Flint Gas Station
If your car's running a little funky, this might be why.
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is investigating reports of contaminated gas from a BP station on Flint’s north side.
According to ABC 12, there’s at least one official complaint so far, but if you’ve seen social media lately, it sounds like there could be more people dealing with the same issue.

Where Was the Contaminated Gas Sold in Flint?
The issue is tied to the BP station at Clio and Myrtle.
By the time a state inspector showed up, the station had already emptied its gasoline as a precaution, which is probably a good sign they knew something wasn’t right.
What Did Inspectors Find in the Gas Tanks?
Inspectors found water inside the underground gasoline storage tank. Yeah, not good.
Water in your fuel system is a nightmare. We’re talking stalling, misfiring, and in some cases, serious engine damage.

What Should You Do If You Think You Got Bad Gas?
If you filled up there and your car is suddenly acting up, don’t ignore it.
You can report it directly to the state at 1-800-632-3835 or file a complaint online.
