It feels like we've been waiting forever for Big Moe's Kitchen to open up in Grand Blanc. Well, it looks like the wait is finally over.

We first told you about Big Moe's Kitchen back in January when we first noticed they were moving in on Grand Blanc Road in the plaza between Guido's Pizza and Roly Poly Sandwiches.

One thing Grand Blanc desperately needs right now is more options when it comes to food.

When Will Big Moe's Kitchen Open in Grand Blanc?

Big Moe's Kitchen is planning a soft open this Monday, September, 12. So if you're like me and you've been dying to try their Bam Bam shrimp, stop in next week.

What is Big Moe's Kitchen?

Big Moe's Kitchen is a quick gourmet carryout restaurant. However, they do offer some seating for dining. I'm assuming this will be the case as well at new Grand Blanc location.

They have salads, wings, wraps, subs, rice bowls, sides, desserts, smoothies, and more.

I'm all about wings so let's break down Big Moe's sauce selection. They have Bam Bam
Sweet BBQ, Honey Garlic, Asian Sesame, Smoked Jalapeno Chipotle, Cajun, Garlic Cilantro Parmesan, and more.

They also have some signature dishes that sound very intriguing like the Bam Bam Shrimp, BBQ Chicken Egg Rolls, Loaded Smoked Brisket Fires, and the Almond Chicken just to name a few.

A Nostalgic Look Back Inside the Infamous Auker Mansion of Grand Blanc

The big house with the large gates on Belsay Road in Grand Blanc, Michigan has been as mysterious as the man who built the massive 14,000+ square foot home that resembled more of a palace than a Midwest home. The late builder Eldon Auker was known for his creativity and flamboyance on some levels, his mansion reflected every bit of that. With its 20 foot ceilings, majestic staircase, and a 3000 square foot bedroom, the home was a showplace. Sold in 2020, it's hard to know if changes were made to the once amazing estate, but it's exciting to be able to take a little look back in time to what once was.
