Felony and misdemeanor charges have been brought today against city and state workers, regarding the Flint water crisis.

Genesee District Court Judge Tracy Collier-Nix authorized the charges this morning for Michigan Department of Environmental Quality employees Steven Busch and Michael Prysby, and for Flint employee Michael Glasgow.

Glasgow is charged with tampering of evidence and willful neglect of office. Prysby and Busch are charged with conspiracy to tamper with evidence, tampering with evidence, a monitoring violation, a treatment violation and misconduct in office.

The men were not in court, nor were any attorneys when the warrants were issued, and the men have not been arraigned. More charges are expected to be brought against more people in the future, and that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The judge felt that there was enough evidence to charge the three employees listed above. We'll keep you up to date on this story as it unfolds.
