Clio Rock Throwing Suspect, Kyle Anger to be Released on Parole this Week

It is hard to believe it has been close to four years since 32-year-old Kenneth White was killed on his way home from work (it seems like yesterday). White died after a rock was thrown over an I-75 overpass in Clio, crashing through the windshield of a truck he was a passenger in. It was hard to believe then, and it still is today.

Five teenage boys were charged with the crime. It was announced just yesterday, that one of the suspects involved will be released from prison. According to ABC 12, Kyle Anger, now 21-years-old, will be out on parole this week.

Anger was 17-years-old at the time of the crime and was tried as an adult. The other teens involved Mark Sekelsky, Mikadyn Payne, Trevor Gray and Alexander Miller (out on bond) are still awaiting trial.

I don't know about you, but I don't know if Anger's release seems fair - not to the other young men still behind bars by any means, but fair for the family and friends of Kenneth White. Anger served not even 2 years behind bars after pleading guilty to second degree murder? I don't know, it just does not seem right.

I do realize that all of the family's involved are hurting. There is just one gigantic difference, Kenneth White is gone from his family forever. There will be no visits, no phone calls, and no hugs for them.
