Dog Found Frozen to Death Outside Michigan Home
Some people in this world should not be pet owners, and this is a perfect example of why.
A dog was recently found frozen to death outside a Michigan home. Let that sink in. This wasn’t some accident or freak moment. This was straight-up neglect from someone who couldn’t be bothered to care. Imagine owning a pet, watching the temps drop into single digits, and thinking, “Eh, they’ll be fine out there.” No, they freaking won’t.

It blows my mind that someone cared so little about their own dog that they could leave them outside long enough to freeze. Like, how do you look at your pet, walk inside, and just go on with your day while they sit in the cold? It’s beyond heartbreaking. It’s infuriating and disgusting.
The dog was found by a concerned resident who works with an animal rescue group.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, Detroit Animal Care and Control says they’re starting to get more calls about dogs being left outside this time of year. Yeah, this isn’t an isolated case, it happens all the time. I mean, it’s eight degrees out, and we just got buried in snow. Everyone knows a dog can’t survive sitting in the cold for a long period of time. If you can’t be bothered to bring your pet inside, why do you even have one?

What makes this even more infuriating is that this could’ve been avoided with the bare minimum of responsibility.
Animal Control wants people to call when they suspect neglect, and honestly, I wish more people would. If you see a dog stuck outside shivering, report it. Don’t assume somebody else will.
