Currently, the indoor waterpark at the Bavarian Inn Lodge has four pools, three whirlpools, the Tower Twister Body Slide, and the Bavarian Blast Tube Slide. Along with the waterpark, the Family Fun Center is home to over 160 video games and redemption games, air hockey, pool tables, and more.

The new expansion has a price tag of $80 million and will add a substantial number of new attractions to the waterpark. Of the over 20 new attractions planned, the Bavarian Inn Lodge will be adding several water slides, a wave pool, an adult swim-up bar, and more. Once completed, this new expansion will make the Bavarian Inn Lodge Michigan's largest indoor waterpark and family entertainment center.
We are truly raising the bar on fun at the Lodge, creating unique attractions and new types of experiences within our resort...This expansion will help us to advance our goal of creating fun and enjoyable experiences for all ages. We are reimagining family fun and see this as an exciting project for all of Frankenmuth...said Michael Keller Zehnder, President of the Bavarian Inn Lodge.
When completed, this soon-to-be 140,000-square-foot waterpark and entertainment center will hopefully open to the public in the spring of 2024. Some of the planned attractions may even open in the fall of 2023.
