The Flint River Flotilla is back for 2021.

For those that want to float down the river this summer but don't have time to set up a trip up north, don't worry, you'll be able to get your floating fix locally in August. When is the Flint River Flotilla 2021?

The Flint River Flotilla 2021 will take place on Saturday, August 7th, 2021. Flotilla launches will begin at 10 am and continue until 2 pm.

Where does the Flint River Flotilla 2021 start and end?

The Flint River Flotilla will launch from Tenacity Brewing on Grand Traverse in Flint. Once you get on the river at Tenacity you will enjoy an awesome float with friends and exit the river at the Mott Park Recreation Area and the Paddlers' Landing.

Where can I get tickets and how much are they?

To purchase your tickets just visit the Corridor Alliance Chapter website here. Flotilla admission is just $10 for adults, kids 12 years-old and younger are free.

Can I rent floats, kayaks, and life jackets?

Yes. If you want to participate in the Flint River Flotilla 2021, but don't have a kayak or tube to float in, rentals are available when you purchase your admission.

  • Available for rental:
    • Single kayak rental - $25 (life jacket and paddle rental included.)
    • Tandem kayak rental - $40 (two life jackets and two paddles included.)
  • Available for purchase:
    • Inflatable float - $20 (yours to keep after the event)
    • Life jackets - $7 (yours to keep after the event)

Where do I park?

Participants should park at the Mott Park Rec Area near the Paddlers' Landing (formerly Mott Park Golf Course.) From there, shuttle busses will pick you up at take you to the launch site at Tenacity Brewing starting at 9 am.
