
Flint’s Biggest Car Week Returns With Rolling Cruises & Classic Rides
Main Event Week for Flint's annual Back to the Bricks roared to life last night with a all the chrome, horsepower, and nostalgia you could handle in Birch Run. And the week just got underway.

Dozens of awesome show cars filled Birch Run Speedway for the annual Cruise-In Car Show, drawing crowds that were eager to share in the celebration of Mid-Michigan’s rich automotive culture.
Celebrating Flint’s Automotive History
Among the highlights was Bill Owen receiving this year’s prestigious Harlow H. Curtice Award. Owen reflected on Flint’s deep ties to the auto industry, saying:
I think it’s one of the few venues that underscores that we have a tremendous automotive background here, and it should not be ignored or forgotten.
Cruises, Movies, and Midweek Fun
The party continues Tuesday night with Bricks Flicks at the U.S. 23 Drive-In on Fenton Road in Mundy Township. It's a perfect night for cars, popcorn, and a big screen under the stars.

By midweek, the legendary Rolling Cruise takes over Wednesday and Thursday, stretching from the historic bricks of Saginaw Street in downtown Flint through Burton and Grand Blanc Township to the city of Grand Blanc. The turnaround party at Grand Blanc High School will send show cars back north, with thousands lining the route to watch an endless variety of classic rides roll by.
Rolling Into the Weekend
Friday night brings the Cruise-N-Concert in downtown Flint which sets the stage for the Main Event on Saturday, the grand finale.
From the Opening Ceremony to the endless rows of vehicles, automotive vendors, food, souvenirs, and live entertainment, downtown Flint will transform into a car lover’s paradise on Saturday.
Back to the Bricks isn’t just a car show, it’s a week-long salute to the heart and soul of Flint’s automotive legacy. It brings together enthusiasts, history, and community pride in one unforgettable celebration.
