The world is really becoming a crazy place when people start flipping out over other people driving too slow. That's what led to a crazy incident that recently took place recently in Wyandotte.

Last weekend (Aug 28) a man lost his patience with another guy that was driving too slow for his liking. The hothead suspect followed the victim to a Big Boy parking lot in Wyandotte and the two exchanged words and at one point the suspect grabbed a baseball bat. The victim went into the Big Boy, while the suspect took off in his car. It didn't end there, the suspect came back and started smashing the victim's car with that very same baseball bat.

Deputy Chief Archie Hamilton:

They exchange words, the suspect actually exited his car and grabbed a baseball bat and the victim did not back down at this point. The victim continued to exchange words with the suspect. This causes the suspect to kind of call his bluff. So he got back in his car and he took off. He goes inside the restaurant and shortly after that, when he’s out of sight, the suspect actually returns.

That dude took that bat and proceeded to smash the victim’s side mirror and window with it which ended up costing more than $1,000 in damage.

The best thing to do in a situation like this is to simply call the police. If you get out and get into a heated argument or even a fistfight, things can get really ugly. You never know what kind of person you're dealing with in the other car. They could easily pull out a gun and end it all. It's so not worth it.

I'm sure this guy lives his daily life like this. He's probably a hothead all the time.

Wyandotte Police is asking anyone with information on this incident to call 734-324-4405.
