Michigan is About to Get Smacked in the Face by a Major Snowstorm This Week
It's looking like Michigan is about to take a major pounding from old Mother Nature.
UPDATED 2/22/23
We've had it pretty good this winter with only one major snowstorm that we've had to endure. However, that's about to change with a new storm system that's about to make its way across the state.
If you've been wishing for snow, your wish is about to come true.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm WARNING for Wednesday afternoon until Thursday morning for Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Bay, and Wayne Counties. Honestly, pretty much most of the state.

How Much Snow Will Michigan Get?
As of right now, meteorologists are predicting that we'll see a significant amount of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain over the next couple of days.
It's hard to say exactly how much mid-Michigan will get but according to The Weather Channel, we'll see less than an inch on Wednesday with an additional 1-3" Wednesday night. A lot can change in 24 hours but that's what they're saying right now.
After we get hit with all that snow, we're going to see light freezing rain Thursday morning followed by just rain. Temps will be in the mid-40s so most of what we get should melt away.
If there's one thing we know about Michigan weather it's that it can change just like that. Hopefully, it does and we don't get nearly what they're predicting. If we do, it's going to be an ugly commute on Wednesday and Thursday.
