I thought people arguing over masks on social media was bad, this is obviously way worse. A Michigan man was stabbed yesterday by a fellow Quality Dairy customer in Dimondale, a suburb of Lansing.

Sean Ernest Ruis, 43, was refused service at the store for not wearing a mask. His refusal to wear a mask, sparked an argument with an unidentified 77-year-old man. This is when Ruis pulled out a knife and stabbed the elderly man. Can you even believe it? Over a mask. As if this isn't bad enough, the story is far from over.

Ruis fled the store, and took off in his car. He was eventually pulled over by a Eaton County deputy. Get this, Ruis got out of his vehicle and attempted to attack the deputy, with the knife. What? Again, this whole incident started over a mask. The story does not end here.

According to Click On Detroit, the deputy attempted to keep away from Ruis, but he continued to come toward her. Fearing for her life, the deputy did shoot Ruis, he later died in surgery. I don't know the man, but I am guessing his plan that day, was not to die over a mask. Let it sink in, all of the above transpired over a mask.

This is heartbreaking all the way around. Unfortunately, I don't see things getting better anytime soon. But here's the deal, not wearing a mask in Michigan right now is no longer an option. Even before that order was mandated, if a business required you to wear a mask, put on a damn mask - or don't go in. It's that simple.

As far as the 77-year-old stabbing victim, he is reportedly in stable condition.
