When it comes to fast food, most people will immediately think of McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Arby's, and more like these. However, there is one fast food chain that has way more locations in Michigan than McDonald's, which is number two on the list.

If you had asked me yesterday what I thought the most common fast food restaurant in Michigan was, I would hands down say McDonald's. It seems like you can't drive more than a few blocks without seeing the "Golden Arches." Turns out, my guess would have been wrong.

After a little bit of searching, I was blown away to find that the one fast food restaurant chain that has way more locations than any other in the state is none other than Subway. Yea, I didn't see that one coming either.

According to Google, Subway has 738 locations throughout Michigan. Surely you would think that McDonald's would be a close second, but you would be wrong. McD's has a lot more ground to cover if they want to take over as there are only 545 of their locations in Michigan.

As for the other top fast food options in Michigan, their numbers are as follows:

Burger King - 288 locations
Starbucks - 283 locations
Wendy's - 241 locations
