New Community Care Task Force Delivers Supplies to Seniors
A new task force hit the streets on Tuesday to deliver supplies to seniors in need.
The Community Care Task Force started making its' rounds in Flint to make sure seniors in Genesee County are taken care of during the coronavirus pandemic. The task force is comprised of members from the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, Flint Police Department, Salvation Army, MTA and religious groups.
The task force was able to provide supplies to around 175 seniors in the Linden Place Apartments. The members of the group went door-to-door to deliver the food baskets. There is no denying that this whole outbreak is a tough time for all of us. Beyond making sure that our friends and loved ones have what they need, be sure to call and check in on them.
