Popular Bay City Restaurant Closing Permanently on March 23
Well, here we go again with another Michigan restaurant closure. This time around, it's a once-popular spot in Bay City.
Over the past couple of years, we've had to say goodbye to some of Michigan's favorite restaurants for various reasons. For example, we've seen the closures of several Big Boy locations, TGI Fridays in Saginaw Township, Berger's Family Restaurant in Bay City, and Bennigan's in Mt. Pleasant, just to name a few.
We also recently got word that Hooters is facing bankruptcy, which could lead to the closure of Michigan's last three locations. We're really hoping that doesn't happen, but things aren’t looking good.
Bay City Restaurant Closing for Good
After nearly 20 years in business, UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Bay City will be closing its doors for good. This really bums me out because I loved going to UNO's when I was in the area. Looks like I can still go, but only until March 23, when they close for good.
The owners of UNO Pizzeria & Grill recently shared the bad news with customers on Facebook:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Bay City on Sunday, March 23rd. Serving our guests and creating countless memories has been an incredible experience, and we are truly grateful for our dedicated team members, loyal customers, and the amazing support we’ve received from this community throughout the years.
They also shared that they will have normal business hours this week, but next week, things will look a little different:
- Monday – Thursday: 4 PM – 9 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Sunday (Final Day): 4 PM – 9 PM
While we're sad to see the Bay City location close, at least you can still get that tasty food at their locations in Birch Run and Farmington Hills.
