Police in Detroit are looking for answers after a disturbing video recently surfaced that shows a man forcing a woman into a van on Christmas day.

The video below shows a woman walking in an alley on Detroit's east side near Gratiot and 8 Mile. As the van pulls up, the man immediately jumps out and grabs the woman, and quickly slams her into the side of the vehicle. He then forces her into the driver's side door and takes off. You can hear the woman pleading with the man to stop.

The man was driving a white van from Lakeside Budget Storage. According to the company which is located in Sterling Heights, they are working with the police on the investigation.

Fox 2 Detroit talked to a woman that saw the video on social media and this was her response:

When I seen it on Instagram and I looked, and I’m like, OK, she’s taken against her will, and it was pretty scary because I'm out and I got five kids and being out, yeah shook. To see that and know that I’m in this area day in and day out, yeah I just hope the police get him.

Very, very scary, very violent for women, children being out at the bus line or whatever, and it’s cold.

There are so many unanswered questions surrounding this case including the identity of the man and woman, their whereabouts, the woman's condition, and whether or not they know each other.
