Cadillac, Michigan became the adopted home of the legendary rock band KISS back in 1974, after the group showed up in the small town to lend several days of support to the high school football team. Since then, the people of Cadillac have held KISS in high regard, and the experience was such a memorable occasion that a movie called ‘Cadillac High’ is now in the works.

Banana listener Nick Schultz is one happy dude today as he walked away with tickets to see Lions and Packers at Ford Field in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day. When this guy walked into the building he had a grin from ear to ear and for good reason.

The kids on this Michigan football team went behind their coaches back to make one disabled student have a day that he would never forget. Their plan was to get as close to the goal line without scoring just so they could let one young man get the touchdown of his life. Watch this heartwarming video and find out why these kids decided to do this.

I graduated from Michigan State University and am a big MSU fan, so I was very excited to see them win on Saturday against Michigan. (Although my two best friends went to U of M, so I do have some appreciation for the school.)  While rooting for my school to win, I couldn't help but notice the bearded Sparty on the field. Could it be real: Sparty is sporting a hipster beard?

The big game between Michigan State and U of M is this Saturday and that always brings out the fight in your friends.  Even though most of the Banana staff can't even hold a conversation about sports, I decided to get everyone's input anyway.  Enjoy the game on Saturday and go blue!
