If you find yourself out and about this weekend and unable to safely get behind the wheel, there is a helpful option you might not know about. It is an awesome service that AAA is offering to get drivers home safely with no strings attached.

Look, no one is here to judge. Sometimes, when you’re out having a good time, things just sneak up on you. Maybe you planned on having one or two drinks, but before you know it, you’re stumbling around looking for your keys. It’s okay, just don’t be the person who gets behind the wheel.

It’s better to wake up the next day a little embarrassed but safe at home in your own bed, not behind bars or worse. It's just not worth it.

So here’s what AAA is offering this weekend. If you’ve had too much to drink or just don’t feel safe driving, you can call them up and they’ll send a tow truck to get you and your car home, free of charge. No membership required, no questions asked. It's what they call their Tow to Go program.

According to ABC 12, if you think you’ve had too much to drink or maybe something else that makes driving a bad idea, just call 1-855-286-9246. AAA will send a tow truck to take you and your car home for free, as long as it’s within a 10-mile radius.

It sure beats court costs, lawyer fees, losing your license, or worse. Just make the call and get home safe.

12 Animals You Must Report If You Hit Them in Michigan

Ever hit an animal while driving in Michigan? Well, it turns out some of them need to be reported. We'll break down the animals you have to call in if you hit them. It’s not just about doing the right thing; it’s also about avoiding any legal issues.

So, who do you call? If you hit one of these animals, you’ll want to contact the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) or local law enforcement. If it’s an actual emergency, call 911; otherwise, just dial the non-emergency number. They’ll handle the situation and make sure everything's squared away. Just don’t forget to report it.
