Popular Fast Food Chain Abruptly Closes 7 Michigan Locations
Here we go again with more restaurant closures in Michigan. However, this scenario is a bit different from other closures we've shared in the past.
Last year, we shared that Burger King planned to close 26 locations in Michigan, which they followed through on. While this may have surprised some customers, it’s actually something they do every year. In 2023, the company shut down 300 to 400 locations nationwide. Reports say Burger King typically shuts down a couple hundred locations every year, but that’s really nothing compared to the 18,000 restaurants they have open worldwide.
The company is once again closing locations and this time around, it's on the west side of the state. Factorial Restaurant Holdings, LLC. the franchise that owns the locations told WZZM that the closures had nothing to do with profits as they were having a record year. The company is in talks with Burger King about franchise and remodeling agreements.

Of the 25 locations under Factorial Holdings' ownership, seven are now closed, but the company believes it's only temporary.

990 44th St, Wyoming - Closed
1313 28th St SW, Wyoming - Closed
2880 E Paris Ave SE, Kentwood - Closed
590 S State St, Sparta - Closed
While all these locations are currently closed, it's not necessarily going to be permanent.
I know what you are thinking, what happened to all the employees who were working at all these closed locations? The company says they moved to other locations.
