If you missed the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show Holiday Break-In on Friday morning, don’t worry—we’ve got it right here for you.

It was another heartfelt year as we surprised a Flint family by delivering a Christmas they’ll never forget right into their home. Hear their story and the letter that was submitted by this year's accomplice.

What is The Holiday Break-In?

The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show:

Each year around the holidays, we make it a point to stop all of the mocking and joking around for at least one day, and use the reach that this radio show has to do some good. For the 22nd consecutive year, we’ll be conducting the Free Beer and Hot Wings Holiday Break-in.

With the holidays approaching, many people will simply not be able to provide for their families. With the help of your nominations, we select families in need and give them a little help by literally breaking into their homes and leaving them a holiday season they may not have had…food, decorations, gifts, everything. No notes are left. There will be no TV cameras or reporters. Everything is completely anonymous. This is done solely with the intent to provide these families with something that they are financially unable to provide themselves.

Shady Acres Trailer Park in Flint 2016

Shady Acres Trailer Park, Flint, Michigan—Photos from around 2016. The park was established back in 1982 but was abandoned in 2015 when the owner disappeared, leaving behind $120,000 in unpaid water and sewer bills. With no heat or utilities, the residents were left in a tough spot, and the park never recovered. Shady Acres was demolished in 2019.
