The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show Holiday Break-In 2024

The Holiday Break-In starts on Monday.

Every holiday season, we pause our usual antics for a day to make a difference. With the reach of Banana 101.5 and the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show, we come together to support a family in need in Genesee County.

Many families in Genesee County will struggle to provide this holiday season, and we want to help. You, our listeners, can nominate families in need, and from those nominations, we’ll select the recipients. Our goal is always to choose the families we can impact the most.

If we choose the family you nominate, you'll become our ‘accomplice’ and join us through the whole process: shopping for gifts, coordinating to get the family out of the house, and even the ‘break-in’ to deliver the surprises.

On the Day of the Break-In: The Banana 101.5 team, with the help of a locksmith, will enter the recipient’s home to leave them with a holiday they might not otherwise have—complete with food, decorations, gifts, and more.

There won’t be any notes, cameras, or reporters. The whole process remains completely anonymous.

If you know a family in need this holiday season, you can nomiante them starting on Monday. Please include as many details as possible, like the number of children, their ages, parents’ work hours, and anything else that might help us make this season special for them.

We ask that you don’t nominate yourself or anyone you live with, as this should be a surprise for the recipient. And please, keep it a secret from those you nominate.
