A horror movie being filmed in Flint just wrapped production this week.

A brand new horror movie named 'Half Dead Fred' has been filming on location around Flint over the last few weeks. This film stars Corin Nemec from "Supernatural," "Stargate SG-1," and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," as well as Jason London from "Dazed and Confused."

Around 90% of the movie is shot in Flint and utilized real places in the area. Some of the filming locations throughout the city include Hoffman's Deco Deli and Cafe, Tim & Paula's Chilly's, and the Red Roof Inn on Miller Road. Other locations throughout Flint included graveyards, houses, bars, and more.

The movie itself, "Half Dead Fred," is a story about Freddy Nash, an alcoholic that was in a bad car accident that left his 9-year-old son deceased. Since the tragedy, Freddy is able to see spirits and becomes a medium detective.

The film still has a few scenes to be shot in Los Angeles and then we should hopefully see the debut of the film by early next year. As of right now, those apart of the movie are hoping to have a premiere at The Capitol Theatre in Flint upon the release of the movie.

This is not the first time Flint has seen movie cameras set up either. A lot of movies have been filmed in Flint including the likes of "Semi-Pro" with Will Farrell, Woody Harrelson, and more, Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Bowling for Columbine," and also Netflix' documentary "Flint Town."
