Snake aka Big Boss returns for 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' and he is out for blood! Looks like we're finally going to see how the protagonist of 'Snake Eater' and 'Peace Walker' becomes the villain featured in the original 'Metal Gear.'

Despite the fanboy grumbling over Snake being voiced by Kiefer Sutherland instead of longtime Big Boss/Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter, 'The Phantom Pain' looks so incredible that it will likely silence all those complaints in time. Outside of who records Snake's lines, there are several changes no one can complain about -- real-time weather, realistic passage of time, the fact that it's an open world game, the stunning graphics and a brand new gaming engine. Not to mention that this is the chapter where Snake goes dark side on everyone's asses.

The new red band trailer from E3 2013, shows the gritty and realistic tactical espionage game we've all been waiting for. We also get to see some familiar faces -- most notably, Ocelot.

MGSV will be released at some point in 2014 for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and will also be released for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
