Vacant School in Lennon Could Become Automotive Shop [VIDEO]
At this point, I don't think we can even count as to how many buildings sit vacant in our area.
The Doyle Knight Elementary School in Lennon has been vacant for about five years but finally somebody has stepped up to turn the school into an auto repair shop.
Carl Sahlke, of Lennon, bid $22,000 for the building but at the moment is only interested in using the gymnasium for his future shop.
Sahlke, his wife and their kids attended the school so there's some sentimental reasons for the purchase as well.
